Withdrawal Information

Effective from: 28 September 2026. This English translation is provided for information purposes only; in the event of any discrepancy, the Hungarian version shall prevail.

If you made a purchase in the Webshop as a consumer – that is, as a natural person acting outside the scope of your profession, independent occupation or business activity – you may withdraw from the contract without giving any reason under Government Decree No. 45/2014 (II. 26.) on the detailed rules of contracts between consumers and businesses. This information forms part of the Terms and Conditions.

1. Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the product. If you purchased several products in one order and they are delivered to you at different times, the withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last product.

You may also exercise your right of withdrawal in the period between the day of conclusion of the contract and the day of receipt of the product.

2. Exercising the right of withdrawal

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw by an unequivocal statement sent by post or by e-mail to the postal address or e-mail address given in the “To” section of the model form in section 9. You may use the model form for this purpose, but it is not obligatory. In your statement, please indicate, if possible, the order number and the product or products to which the withdrawal relates.

You may also exercise your right of withdrawal online at the following address: superdoghome.hu/elallas-a-szerzodestol (using the “Withdraw from contract here” button at the bottom of every page of the website). If you use this online function, we will, without undue delay, send you an acknowledgement of receipt of the withdrawal on a durable medium (for example, by e-mail), stating the content of the withdrawal as well as its date and time.

You exercise your right of withdrawal in time if you send your withdrawal statement before the withdrawal period specified above has expired. The burden of proof that you exercised your right of withdrawal in accordance with this information lies with you; we therefore recommend that you send your statement in a verifiable manner (for example, by e-mail or by registered letter). We will confirm by e-mail the receipt of any withdrawal statement received by e-mail.

3. Returning the product

You shall send back the product to us or – by prior arrangement – hand it over to us in person without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal statement. The deadline is met if you send back the product before the period of 14 days has expired. We will provide the return address in the confirmation of your withdrawal statement; failing that, please send the product to the postal address given in the “To” section of the model form in section 9.

You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the product. We are unable to accept parcels returned cash on delivery.

4. Reimbursement

If you withdraw from the contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we receive your withdrawal statement. However, we will not reimburse the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us.

We will carry out the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you expressly agree to the use of a different means of payment; you will not incur any additional costs as a result of such reimbursement. Accordingly:

• in the case of bank transfer in advance, we will reimburse the amount by bank transfer to the bank account from which the payment was received, or to another bank account specified by you;
• in the case of cash on delivery, we will – with your express consent – make a transfer to the bank account specified by you. If you do not consent to this, please let us know and we will agree with you on the method of reimbursement.

We may withhold the reimbursement until we have received the product back or you have supplied evidence of having sent it back, whichever is the earlier.

5. Liability for diminished value

You are only liable for any diminished value of the product if it results from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product. The examination necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the product is what you could also do in a shop, for example looking at the product; using the product for its intended purpose – for example, using the soap or the candle – goes beyond this.

6. When the right of withdrawal does not apply

Pursuant to Section 29(1) of Government Decree No. 45/2014 (II. 26.), with regard to the products offered in the Webshop, you may not exercise your right of withdrawal:

• in the case of sealed products which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed after delivery, if you unsealed the packaging after receipt. This may include, in particular, cosmetics and personal care products delivered in sealed packaging (for example, handmade soap, soap powder, lip balm, shampoo and shaving soap, bath salt) and food in sealed packaging (for example, jam or table salt);
• in the case of perishable products or products liable to deteriorate rapidly;
• in the case of products which are not prefabricated and which we made on the basis of your instructions or at your express request, or which we clearly personalised for you (for example, a gift set bearing a personalised inscription or name and made specifically at your request);
• in the case of products which, according to their nature, are inseparably mixed with other items after delivery.

For products in unopened, undamaged packaging, and for products to which the hygiene exception does not apply (for example, beeswax products, wax melts, natural bags, shell dishes), the right of withdrawal may be exercised in accordance with this information.

7. Withdrawal and defective products

The right of withdrawal applies regardless of whether the product is defective. If the product is defective or arrived damaged, you may also exercise your rights under the legal guarantee (kellékszavatosság) or the product warranty (termékszavatosság): in such cases, the costs of fulfilling the obligations under the legal guarantee and product warranty are borne by us, and opening the sealed packaging does not preclude your claim either. Details are set out in section 9 of the Terms and Conditions.
